Overview
The Abdomen-Extended/OB-GYN (General) program trains students to conduct a variety of exams which include abdominal, pelvic, and OB. Students will learn to image standard views of different organs of the body. This concentration focuses on anatomy and teaches students to recognize pathology of many different organs.
Program Goal
To prepare competent entry-level sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains for the following concentration(s) it offers: Abdominal-Extended Sonography.
To prepare competent entry-level sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains for the following concentration(s) it offers: OB/GYN Sonography.
