What is the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program?
UMBC IXL’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMSP) program is a 13.5-month, fully in-person program that prepares students for careers as diagnostic medical sonographers. It’s one of the most comprehensive programs IXL offers and includes selective admissions, clinical training, and preparation for national credentialing exams.
The program offers concentrations in Vascular, Cardiac, and Abdomen-Extended/OB-GYN (General) sonography.
