UMBC’s IXL welcomes veterans, service members, and their dependents. Several IXL programs are approved for VA education benefits. If you are a veteran, service member or their dependant, you qualify to have all or part of your tuition covered.
Programs currently approved for VA benefits include:
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography — Our full-time, in-person clinical program prepares students for careers as sonographers. This program requires an application for admission and has specific start dates.
- Certificate in Cyber Foundations
- Certificate in Project Management Foundations
- Certificate in Python Software Development & Data Analytics
- PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Preparation
Using your benefits at IXL
To use GI Bill benefits for an IXL program, you’ll work with a UMBC Veterans Affairs certifying official to certify your enrollment. We recommend reaching out to us before you register so we can walk you through the process and make sure your program is currently approved.
