UMBC DMSP would like to invite you to attend one of our Sonography information sessions. Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about the profession of Sonography and the UMBC DMSP, to meet with the Instructors and the Program Director, and experience demonstrations of Cardiac, Vascular and General ultrasound exams in the scan lab. Any questions you may have about the program will be answered during these sessions.
You may not apply to the UMBC DMSP until you have attended an Information Session. You are strongly encouraged to attend early in your decision-making to ensure that you make an informed choice to enter the profession of Sonography and the UMBC DMSP. Please arrive timely for full credit. The application period ends on 12/31 of each year.
Upcoming Sonography information sessions are scheduled below. Space is limited, so please RSVP early. Information Sessions are held five times per year on Saturday or Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM. until about 1:00 p.m., or Thursday afternoons from 1:00 PM to about 4:00 PM. Information Sessions start promptly, and doors open 30 minutes in advance.
Registration for the Thursday, March 6, 2025 Information Session is OPEN. Registration for the next Information Session, Saturday, June 7, 2025, will open in early April.

Information sessions will be held in the Main Seminar Room of the UMBC Technology Center (BW Tech South) at 1450 South Rolling Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227.
