Year-Round Youth Programs
UMBC offers year round non-credit course on weekends and holiday breaks to middle and high school students in disciplines including: science, engineering, technology, arts, and humanities. Participants work alongside UMBC faculty, students, and industry experts allowing them to tap into their creative talents, expand critical thinking, and hone their academic skills.
Summer Enrichment Academy
The Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) offers middle and high school students a variety of non-credit academic enrichment activities, in disciplines including: science, engineering, technology, arts, and humanities. Participants work alongside UMBC faculty, students, and industry experts allowing them to tap into their creative talents, expand critical thinking, and hone their academic skills.
Test Prep Academy
The Test Prep Academy (TPA) offers high quality, affordable, in-person test preparation trainings for students applying to undergraduate and graduate school. TPA courses provide exceptional trainings that help students reach their academic potential. Current offerings include SAT, GRE, LSAT and IELTS preparation courses, and other academic support to students seeking an edge in a competitive academic environment. TPA gives students the opportunity to “Claim Your Future” and exceed their goals.
Professional Development Courses and Certificates
We offer a variety of professional courses and certificates that can be transferred for credit, earn CEUs, PDUs, and industry accreditation. Whether you are looking to upgrade your skills in your current field or looking for training in a whole new area, our programs can help get you there. These courses are designed to give learners the critical skills they need to become more effective, productive, and strategic contributors.
