The total cost of attendance includes both direct and indirect costs.
Direct Costs are expenses for which students will be billed directly by UMBC, such as tuition and mandatory fees.
Indirect Costs are expenses that you are not billed for directly, but which you should consider when planning your budget for attending UMBC. These can include:
- Rent, utilities, food, and other personal expenses.
- Books and supplies
- Transportation to and from campus and clinical sites
Please note that actual costs for individual students vary based on personal circumstances.
We understand that the ability to fund your education is an integral part of your decision to join our program.
You will find helpful information regarding our program costs and financial assistance options below.
We highly encourage our students to apply for scholarships to help reduce the cost of attendance.
