*SEA Drop-Off and Pick-Up: In front of the Performing Arts and Humanities Building (PAHB) across from Parking Lot #8 on Hilltop Road. Look for SEA directional signs to the Drop-Off and Pick-up location when you enter onto campus. Parents/Guardians should make every effort to drop off and pick up their students on time. Program assistants will be at the drop-off location every morning at 8:30AM to check in your student and students will check themselves out with their instructor at the PAHB drop-off location the conclusion of their program. Pick-up and Drop Off will be at the same location every day for all courses unless explicitly noted.

- Accessibility: The class will walk together with an assistant or instructor to the classroom. If students need special accommodations to get to classrooms, we will make every effort to support transitions to and from class utilizing accessibility routes ramps and walkways for students.
- Parking: Any students driving themselves or parents that want to park and stay on campus may park in Lot 22 for free. However, name, license plate, car make, model and year need to be submitted to Bria Thorpe prior to parking or YOU WILL GET A TICKET. Parking Enforcement at UMBC is very efficient. Parking in any space or lot not located in Lot 22 will result in a ticket.
- UMBC is an open campus, open to the public: Parents are welcome to sit in our open spaces, PAUB lobby, library, or Starbucks Cafe during SEA. Students who arrive early or who do not get picked up on time can wait inside the Performing Arts and Humanities Building (PAHB), but will not be supervised beyond the program’s operating hours of 8:30 to 4:30.
- Snacks: Cash only vending machines for drinks and snacks are available, but are not always fully stocked, so students are encouraged to bring a snack or drink.
UMBC Campus or Medical Emergencies: UMBC Campus Police and Environmental Safety and Health are ready in case of any emergency. Notification to parents and guardians will be swift.
