Program Effectiveness Data for Classes of ’22, ’23, and ’24
Our accrediting agency, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), requires that we calculate our program effectiveness (outcomes) in the areas of student retention, graduate employment, graduate test taker percentage and credentialing success.
The UMBC Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program consistently demonstrates program effectiveness that exceeds CAAHEP minimum standards in all four areas.
In addition, our credentialing success rates typically exceed national averages (as published by the credentialing agency, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, ARDMS).
